Three Recent Purchases I Recommend for Your Kitchen

If you follow me then you know I love to cook! It takes time to build a kitchen full of all the best cooking tools, pans, and gadgets. Here are three of my recent purchases that make everyday life in the kitchen much easier!

Silicone Baking Mats

For about $14 on Amazon you will never have to grease a pan ever again! I used these mats for the first time at my mom's house while making some protein cookies and she wouldn't stop talking about how great they were. She was right!

Nonstick Oven Crisper Tray

I saw this tray and had to try it out! I gave an honest review on Instagram last night when I used it for the first time.  I am not going to lie, I was a little skeptical when the directions said I didn't have to use any oil in order to get my potatoes crispy. I even thought about just putting a little oil on them anyway but I stopped myself and proceeded to just follow the directions! It was easy, I seasoned my fingerling potatoes and spread them in the tray evenly (without oil) and baked them at 420 for about 35 minutes. It worked! The potatoes were crunchy and browned on the outside and soft on the inside! Plus, you don't have to flip them over while cooking. Totally worth the $19 in my opinion. I am excited to try roasting veggies next! Keep you posted.

A Sharp Chef's Knife

Have you ever chopped veggies with a dull knife? It is so annoying and makes your taste much longer and more difficult than it needs to be.  Everyone needs a good chef's knife to get the job done and safely.  I don't know about you but I would like to keep all my fingers and dull crappy knives increase your odds of injury. We can't have that! This guy is about $30.

Now, let's get cookin' good lookin'!
